I wanted to love this bra, I tried it in the shop and it felt secure and comfortable. I purchased this one and another bra and unfortunately this one I will only go to when I'm washing the other one. The underwires ride up and dig in under my arms, and although when I first put it on in the morning it sits snug against my ribcage, within half an hour it has ridden up so that my boobs are almost underneath the bra. I'm constantly having to pop myself back in throughout the day. Sadly, I won't be buying this bra again.

Oh man, I wish I'd come and read these reviews earlier. I have been struggling for WEEKS with very painful, and frankly embarrassingly visible underwires which have come through, but couldn't afford to buy a new one (that is, until I get paid this weekend, hence coming on here to see what I could get!). Alana is the only bra that works with my size and shape and I thought the underwire things was only me... I've been wearing them for years, and it seems to have gotten much worse over the past couple of years. Shame, though. They're great until they're not!

When you need a larger cup there is precious little choice and so Alana has been a friend for years. The most important thing is it gives great support and is always comfortable. It's so good to have a bra in my size that comes in a variety of colours rather than black or white. A few things to mention. I go up a cup size for a better fit, Its probably my shape I take a cup smaller in Charlotte. With the underwires, which has been mentioned, I always hand wash and I've not had a problem. On the whole very pleased and I would recommend

Although I agree with the reviewer who says scratchy fabric, not great quality, this is probably the only bra in the world which fits me with adequate support for my 32K boobs. I don't believe any bra the same size as a baby double hammock can truly be sexy. I have it in yellow, nude and black, I would love a similar bra in a more luxurious fabric, but hey it does fit and on balance could look worse. have never experienced wires coming through, although sometimes i am quite lazy and dont do up all three hooks at the back which if done often enough gives me an allergy sore where the metal touches my skin. They last me a very long time. If you are over a j cup, and want to defy gravity this is the bra for you.

At 21 years old, this is the first bra I have had that I feel has fit me correctly. I was aided in store to find my right size, after a certain high-street shop gave me one that didn't feel right. Went from wearing a 38F to a 34GG! I feel like Bravissimo really understood my shape and what I wanted. I got exactly that with this bra. Left wearing it and definitely plan on buying it in more colours.

I bought this bra at the start of the Summer and loved it but it only lasted 6-8 weeks before the wires came through. Very disappointing. Loved the shape and style otherwise. Hoping it was just a bad batch!
