Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

During my pregnancy by breast went extra large. Before i was a 34G and it was already difficult to find a bra that fits my size let alone when my breast started to get larger. Unfortunately this was the only model available in this size, in fact so far i have 3 in all. The only part i regret is that the bra shows out when wearing a vest shirt. But overall it gives good support to the breast.

Owerall this is the preferred bra for me while I'm breastfeeding. I've tried all three styles that Bravissimo currently has available, and this one comes out on top.
On the plus side, it's supportive and can accomodate my boobs, which is NOT a given when we're talking about the K/L cup sizes. The bra stays in place, and the straps do not dig in much.
Now, for the "not so good": The cup is rather unyielding, so as my boobs fill in with milk I tend to start spilling over. Secondly, at least in the K-cup, the cup itself has a weird pointy shape, making me feel like someone stuck two plastic cones over my boobs.
So, support is great, fit and shape is funky.
Some reviewers mentioned that the band was too short. I found it to be rather tight, but within the range of what I'd consider true to size. The band is very unyielding, no stretch there like in most bras! For my own part, the band was way too tight before birth (due to my ribcage expanding), but fit perfectly after birth.

This bra pushed my boobs down n out sideways! Zero support and made me look more enormous in a totally unflattering way! I took advice and sized up from a pre pregnancy 34GG to a 38HH and it fits comfortably just looks horrible n v unsexy! Will return as soon as I can get to a post office... Preferred the Panache Sophie bra, will get a few more of those as theyre great for me.

I did read other reviews before I bought this and I'm glad I did.
I would 100% recommend you go up a size or maybe two (depending how pregnant you are) in the band as it is rather tight. I went up one size and had 5 weeks to go. However if you're not that far into your pregnancy then take into consideration for your rib cage expanding with baby.
Although the cup can be a bit pointy, the cup size was fine and it is very comfortable to wear. I tend to wear a vest under my top anyway which takes away the pointiness.
The quality of this bra is really good and will definitely last you the duration. I bought this bra in nude and black and wear them every day.
You can't go wrong with the price aswell.
I would recommend this bra.

A great nursing bra that offers good support. I didn't have "uniboob" with this bra. Also I didn't have trouble with the clasps -- something which happened for me with the Panache bras. I liked it so much I ordered another.

A fantastic bra for a big bust. Before falling pregnant I was a 34L and really worried that I wouldn't be able find a maternity/nursing bra that was comfy and offered the support needed. I shouldn't have worried. I bought the 40K as it was the biggest I could find and it's fantastic! I'm ordering another 2 today! Highly recommended bra

The back was absolutely minuscule so I couldn't get it on so can't really comment on anything other than size.
I accept that bras 'come up differently' but I laid this out next to all my other 30 backs and it was about 4" shorter in the band.
It's a real shame as it's one of the only bras that go beyond a J.

The band size runs small so I suggest getting a size bigger. The cups are on the pointy side, but personally I prefer that. I think the cup size is true, but frankly with all the changes during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it can be hard to tell! I felt more comfortable wearing this model than the Rosie nursing bra.
