Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

This bra has got to be the most comfortable (with support) bra that I have ever owned. It's just a shame my size went out of stock very quickly. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought one of each color when I was in England this summer, but one of them only lasted 3 washes before it started coming untraveled at the band. Disappointing because it is rather comfortable, and it was the only somewhat neutral color bralette I could find that I liked.
Not the comfort level I'd hoped for2 out of 5 stars

I wanted to try these bralettes to get something more comfortable (prepared to sacrifice a bit of support for more comfort) but I have mixed feelings on the outcome.
What I like is the look and the colour, it is very supportive and does keep a decent shape (not a mono-boob). And it does fit comfortably ... initially.
I read the reviews about the straps digging in. I had just bought a Zina bralette and when trying that on had found that the 'right size' was way too constricting. Tried a bigger back band but that just rode up. Instead I went up to a cup size technically bigger than needed and that felt much better. So I tried the same approach and bought a bigger cup size for this one.
On both this and the Zina my problem is that the lacey 'longline' band just curls up on itself at the front and digs in. It does get uncomfortable to breathe in it. I squirm around trying to adjust it back down but that's not possible with one of these! (I can resort to the loos to half undress and adjust it, just to be back in the same situation mins later.)
I had hoped for something comfy to wear everyday but this isn't it. I do wear it but it depends how long I'll be wearing it for, what I'm doing in it. But that's no different from a traditional underwired bra. So no worse than normal but not the comfort I'd been hoping for. (For info: I'm a 28FF, bought the 28GG-H.)

I bought this bra because I was going on holiday and I wanted something comfortable and light in hot weather. The bra is comfortable, stretchy, light and sits well, however the seam on top of the shoulders is really thick and it pressed into my shoulders which started itching and then hurting.
I do admit I was carrying a small rucksack on my shoulders but a bra that you can't wear under a rucksack is not much use to me.
It also leaves a less deep mark when I don't have a rucksack on my shoulders.
It's a massive shame that the seam isn't further down the back because all the other features are great!

I bought this as I like non wired bras and wear them a lot at the gym.
This is pretty in a subtle way it’s a snug fit but that’s what I need when exercising. I have several simple no wired bras which I prefer so would love some prettier ones please?

First time I've ever found a non-wired bra that actually feels supportive enough to wear outside the house!! Bit of a shame about those front seams, which mean you can't really wear it under a t-shirt, but I'm just delighted to have a couple of (I bought both colours) non-wired bras I actually feel comfortable in. More colours maybe??
