Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

Sadly I can only give this bikini one star.
I needed bikini's for my holiday and I will say that it's a beautiful pattern and colour.
I've got fairly big boobs and having tried on so many two pieces in other shops that didn't give me the right support it was a relief to find one that did. So although the price tag at £80 was a lot higher than I wanted to pay, given how supportive it felt in the changing room and that it wasn't coming from a random high street shop but the shop that I buy all my bras from I figured that the quality would match the price I had to pay. Sadly that just wasn't the case.
I treated it with total respect (because at £80 I'd be mad not too). I went under the poolside shower to rinse the chlorine out every time I got out of the pool, and at the end of the day it would have a very gentle hand wash. I know not to wring out bikini's so it was placed between towels to absorb the water and was dried flat in the shade and not hung on a drying rack in full sun.
I wasn't wearing it every day as I'd found a cheaper although less supportive bikini so was able to alternate them, and not every day of my holiday was spent by the pool or on the beach where a bikini was needed.
By the third time I wore the Savannah the material on the cups had stretched and become baggy, and the same was starting to happen on the knickers. By the 5th time I wore it, the elastic around the legs had gone totally and it was totally unwearable.
Given that I looked after it properly and treated it with care to avoid stretching happening, I'm very disappointed that not only did it stretch but the knicker elastic totally gave out. The quality definitely didn't match the price I paid for it.
If it had only cost me £20 (which was the price I paid for the back up bikini) I would just accept it was one of those things, but for £80 I expected so much more and will be taking it back because I can't wear it in the future and want my money refunded.
Like I said, it's beautiful to look at and was very supportive initially, but 5-6 uses before it's unwearable isn't in any way acceptable for an £80 bikini.
So I would say that if you were thinking of buying this then think carefully before you part with your money, or make sure that you only use it for sunbathing and don't wear it in water.
