Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

This bra is so flattering. As a larger lady I always feel very self conscious but this gives a lovely shape. This is the fourth one I have bought and it comes in some lovely colours.

I've been wearing this Panache bra for years - I love the way it makes my boobs look, while enclosing them comfortably. And looking pretty while doing it! Perfect, for me anyway :)

I have 5-6 Panache Envy bras - it’s the best bra ever frankly. Supportive, comfy, nice shape, pretty, washes well. Just a FYI that it comes up smaller than other brands - I’m a 30FF/G in Freya and 30GG in Panache.
This latest one loses a star because the strap material is different and it makes a creaking noise against the plastic loops at the back. Annoying and also a bit of sensory weirdness (like fingernails on a blackboard!). But still a fabulous supportive and pretty bra.

I ordered a couple of these because they are my go-to style and I know they fit me well. I have several already and knew exactly what I was expecting. As soon as I put one on I knew it had changed.
The description says balconette. Every one of these I have ever ordered in the past has been a balconette.
The ones I have received are full cup and say so on the tags. Trying one on at the same time as an older one purchased last year, the top line of the cups of the new one is signifiantly higher, especially near the shoulder straps, and the straps are in a slightly different, narrower position. It's a fairly minor change, but enough to definitely change it from a balconette to a full cup.
Ultimately, the two I ordered are fine and I will keep them: they fit very well and are very comfortable. But either this style is no longer balconette, or there are multiple styles and that's not reflected in the description/options.
