Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

Really nice style, material very comfortable and supportive. Nice deep cups and projection. The back band is very stretchy but don't think I could have sized down but had to use middle hook setting for support from first wear.

The cups fit extremely well - great support, shape and comfort.
The bra is let down by the straps. The are thin and flimsy and fold over, roll and then dig in. I have noticed Bravissimo have "improved" a lot of their straps - and they were so much better before!

This bra is fantastic! It's the first one I've found which really fits well, is really comfy, and doesn't move around when I'm riding a bike (apart from the Panache Tango, and after 10 years I'm bored silly of the Tango - and I much prefer the look of the Mabel).
The band came up big, so I went down in the band and up in the cup, and it's my favourite bra after less than a week.
Just wish it came in more colours!

This is the BEST bra for women with projection to their bust.
I wish bra sizes came in the clothes sizes that were offered. Like a 30JJ plus and super plus. I could easily wear a smaller size and feel more comfortable with bra wires if bras were offered in a plus and super plus like the clothes (curvy, super curvy).
Then I would not have to have wires wrapping all the way around towards my back just to get the right size cup. Hint!! Bravissimo!!
I love this!5 out of 5 stars

It is so flattering and comfortable. I'm usually a 36K, but a 36JJ in this is perfect. It is EXACTLY the right style for me and gives me a great, rounded shape. It feels really secure, too. I bought a Freya Offbeat bra around the same time, and the difference is huge. The underwires in the Freya bra are much wider and shallower, while the Mabel's underwires fit me exactly. The lace on the Freya one is stretchy to allow it to fit well, but it feels less secure as a result. The Freya Offbeat is really pretty and gets lots of great reviews, and I know different bras suit different people - I need the fit and shape of the Mabel!
I love bright/dark colours for underwear, and would really love the Mabel to come in other colours. I'd also like the same basic shape with lace or other pretty features.
I really rely on Bravissimo for the great bras they do in my size - I love the Zadie and Amelie too, and the discontinued Nina. Please continue to bring out more bright/dark colours!
