*Second time of writing this review as my original hasn’t appeared despite others from after mine being there-I do hope Bravissimo are not censoring reviews.
I have a 40K bust and am limited in selection so I buy a lot of Millie bras. Let’s talk about the positives first of all …. The fit is wonderful, the colours are mainly fabulous and the staff in my local branch are kind and friendly. However the quality of this bra is getting worse every time I purchase it.
My latest purchase of this bra was the incredible green colour-however sadly this lasted less than three months which is what has made me write this review.
The wire has come through under the armpit. It is very obvious to see why. The waxy moulding which is used at the end of the wire to soften and stop the wire breaking through is the thinnest piece you can imagine and has not done its job. I know my K cup boobs are heavy but if more of this waxy mould was used or the ends of the wire were soldered off so they weren’t as sharp this wouldn’t happen.
This is the third millie bra this has happened to in the past year but this one lasting less than three months (and of course not worn everyday) has really disappointed me.
I don’t feel there is any point in contacting customer service as when I did last time and sent the teal/magenta back for Bravissimo to see the lack of quality and fault I received a very patronising letter saying it was because I don’t care for my bras correctly. Trust me for over £35 I hand wash and follow all the care instructions.
Please look at the manufacturing and quality of this bra in your bigger sizes Bravissimo - your shops staff are brilliant but your actual product is letting you down. I wish I had more choice of both shop and bra, but I don’t. So therefore I will keep on purchasing the Millie bra in all its wonderful colours but I will just have to do some extra overtime if a nearly £40 bra last less than 90 days!!
