Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

This bra fits well, and provides a good level of support. The catch is secure but easy to operate. It’s also very pretty which helps to feel a bit more human again, and I love that it has matching knickers.

Very comfortable to wear. I think when you get to a certain size the mono boob effect is inevitable in a non wired bra. Despite that I do like this bra and would buy again.

Excellent fit and boob support, easy to use (even one-handed) and looks great! Bought the black as well as the navy one as you can't have too much of a good thing.

I bought this in black and beige, ahead of giving birth in a few weeks. Obviously the bra has less support than what I'm used to with underwires, but I felt it was supportive enough that I'll be keeping it. The under band is comfy and doesn't seem likely to chafe, as is the material on the cups. It's also prettier than a lot of nursing bras.

I like it very much. It has good support and looks very nice, but it runs a bit small in size so I would go up a size. I got a help from Bravissimo and got the correct size.

I have 4 of these nursing bras in a 34E, 2 black, 1 nude and 1 navy. In general they are brilliant, easy to do up one handed, give good shape and support (no mono boobs) and don't show round breast pad shapes through cotton tops. They look great too and I have matching knickers with each bra. They do come up a little high at the front for me so they sometimes show slightly under a vest, but then I find that with a lot of the larger cup styles. My only gripe is that the navy one is causing me pain under one boob. The band seems to rub or dig in on that side leaving me with a red inflamed patch. I had to wear sleep bras and use nipple cream on it for a few days for it to go down as it was painful and itchy to wear a more structured nursing bra. I then wore the other colours no problem, but as soon as I wore the navy one again the same thing happened. I can't see anything wrong with the bra so it seems that the fit is just very slightly different. Such a shame as I bought 3 pairs of knickers to match as well.
Bigger cup sizes please!4 out of 5 stars

I love this bra. I’ve bought it for pregnancy and now for nursing. It’s probably the prettiest nursing bra on the market and comes in 3 nice colours (a 4th pink one I spotted on-line elsewhere). It doesn’t give much separation but I think that’s tricky with a non-wired. It gives a lifted-up shape and has pretty good support so less pressure on your back.
My one complaint? The cup size range. My pre-pregnancy size of 32HH would have fitted most bras but am now a 38J and likely to be a 36KK on nursing. It would be great if Panache could make this bra in those bigger cup sizes (say up to a K/ L) as I’m sure there would be a market for them - even if they only did it one colour!
The range of nursing bras at the top end of the cup size range is woefully limited.
