Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

This bra doesn’t give a good shape but is more comfortable than my underwired bras so I’ll continue to wear it home. I’d prefer if it wasn’t lace but have noticed that stretchy lace has become ubiquitous.

I’ve looked at these bralettes before, read reviews and decided to take the plunge…quite literally.
It gives absolutely NO SUPPORT…to be honest I’m not sure why they are made for bigger ladies…..it wasn’t even comfortable and gave me no shape either.
Very disappointing waste of £35.

Certainly a comfy bra with no underwire digging in my tummy at the end of a long night shift. But….it creates a serious monoboob that results in a sweaty cleavage…..which can get a bit uncomfortable after a while. Constantly re-adjusting to move boobies Could do with some additional material to keep boobs separate.

I bought the Zara almost immediately after it was first introduced, and loved it so much that I now own in it almost every colour way - including multiple times in black!
The Zara is comfortable, pretty and soft, and has helped tremendously with keeping me feeling comfortable and 'lightly supported' when at home. Particularly on days where I'm experiencing swelling due to my cycle, the Zara takes the edge off how heavy or tender they can feel, and lets me focus on what I want to do - which is to rest and relax!
The trick to buying Zaras is to go up one cup size if you are on the larger end of a size range. So for example: a 32E should opt for the 32E-F, but a 32F should go for the 32FF-G. I am a 28H, so was fitted to a 28HH-J in-store.
If you are looking for a comfortable, cute bralette that will give you some support on lazy days, I cannot recommend the Zara enough and will continue to make sure I buy this every colour-way. :)
