Comfortable, Great Shape & Modesty!5 out of 5 stars

Review by Kelley on
I'm very pleased with this bra - it gives a great, upfront and rounded shape, and is very comfortable! Definitely provides the plunge, so good for just about all necklines, and the fabric at the front, while not being very exciting, is just perfect for modesty. Thus, it gets worn often for work with opaque but thinner tops! I should note, I was sized for this bra at the NYC store and, while I wear a 30E UK in about everything else, it was recommended that I purchase this one band size up in 32E. This allows for greater adjustable straps, which I loosened further after the first wash (even with cold water/air drying...though the fit otherwise was unaffected). The band is not loose at 32 for me and I would recommend doing the same. As far as look with tops - the lines on this are vertical as opposed to cutting across the breast, so they are much less visible than some 3-panel bras, but there is (depending on the tightness of your shirt, of course) potential for some visibility. However, it is great to have the benefit of molded bras (modesty) without the stiff mold! Also, the top clasp is fiddly, no doubt. However, I never undo it; I put it over my head, fit myself in, and do up the back, so I would say it is a non-issue. I just wish I knew about the dusty pink while they still had it in my size!

The fit of this bra is fantastic. My boobs actually look smaller! It brings them in and up giving a great shape. And the straps cannot fall off your shoulders, which is a huge problem for me. Unfortunately, the clasp on the back of the neck has been designed by aliens and is impossible to do up whilst wearing the bra. The only way I could fasten this was to do it up first then putting the bra on over my head. I only wore the bra for an hour but had red shoulders and neck from the straps and metal bits digging in. Such a shame that this great fit has just one problem too many for me to keep it - will be returning in the post on Monday.

After 2 kiddies my boobs were not the same as they used to be. I’ve been struggling with dents in my shoulders trying to hoist them up and this bra does that amazingly well! Moulded cups aren’t something I normally like but they fit well, the back is so comfortable with the lace. I do have to do the clasp up first then put it over my head and do the band up but that’s a small price to pay for a bra that fits so nicely, and puts the girls back up where they should be. Also, I don’t mind wearing off the shoulder or slash neck tops now because the bra is so pretty! Went down well with the other half too! I’d love it in more colours, I have the black and the burgundy but the pink isn’t in stock in my size. Awesome bra. Had to go down a cup size in it but that might just be due to weight loss and not the fit- I’m not sure!

Very beautiful but there is one problem- how do you manage to fasten it? Had to fasten it then put over my head to get it on the clasp is very fiddly, thought it would be better if it was like a bikini clasp. Other than that very comfortable and pretty, need more like this so us bigger ladies can where t-shirts without flashing our straps.

I have this bra in every colour, it’s my go to bra every day! The fit, the shape and the lift it gives me is awesome (after 2 kids). I always do the small clip at top up first then put it over my head and yes there is 4 hook and eye to do up but you get used it and the I felt it gives me more support and I felt more secure in it, to me the cups come up slightly larger so try it on to get best fit! They need to do this bra in nude as the pink is slightly too dark under white! For me it’s the best bra I’ve ever had, I feel good in it, thanks Bravissimo!

True fit, so comfy, really good support and not too expensive! Everything you could want in a bra. Highly recommend.

It fits so perfectly and is very comfortable. The straps lay in a different location across the shoulders from other bras, which is a nice break. Despite the plunge style, my boobs stay securely in place (not like another similarly-styled bra, not from Bravissimo). I also love the side silhouette of my chest in this bra, it is able to hold my boobs up where they belong! The back of the neck closure was a bit complicated, but I usually keep that closed and slip it over my head to make it easier.

OK bra, poorly scaled for small band sizes2 out of 5 stars

28JJ
Review by Maria on
I'll start my review by stating that I had to compromise on size with this bra. I purchased a 28J, but have to wear it on the tightest hooks so ideally I would have needed a 26JJ. The cup does come up a little on the bigger size for a Bravissimo bra, which is good for me as I normally spill out of a 28J. The material of this bra is lovely and soft and the idea behind the design is lovely. Fit wise I encountered a few problems. The underwires are absurdly wide, I find that they finish closer to my back than my front, and the underwire arcs awkwardly away from under my breasts. Bravissimo, you really need to actually look at some women with small band sizes with a large cup size, this is a common issue with your bras because you fail to account for the fact that people with narrow backs are often narrow in front as well. The cups are incredibly shallow at the bottom, which does make me look incredibly booby, but also makes the bra slide down as my breast simply can't fit into the bottom of the cup. Finally, less of a fit issue and more of a scaling issue. The lace panels on the 28 band are much narrower than shown in the product pictures. You may think, "it's a 28 band, that makes sense" but proportionately there is less lace, instead of starting at near the hooks in the middle it starts further away, and the lace doesn't extend as far around, so instead of the look being thin at the top but wider at the bottom the lace just goes straight down which doesn't look anywhere near as lovely. Bravissimo, please work with some women in my size range when you're developing bras to help you figure out what actually works. I volunteer as tribute.
