Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I absolutely love this bra, it's so comfy and makes my boobs look fabulous. It's by far the best bra I've ever bought. I highly recommend and I will definitely be buying more in different colours.
I did find that the cup size was huge and needed to buy 2 cup sizes smaller than my regular size.

As a person who had refused to wear bras because of discomfort and general issues of not finding the right fit, I decided to give them a chance again. I already knew my cup size, but not the band size.
So, before going to buy any bra in general I had measured myself and because I am cautious I measured myself 4 times to make sure I was the size that came up.
And so I went straight in and bought this bra, it looks pretty and I wanted something to feel good in.
Lets say I do feel really pretty in this, this style of bra is really nice, it's comfortable, the banding doesn't dig in and the straps are easily adjustable. The extra fastening at the top did confuse me a little, but It took less than 15 minutes to figure it out! And having since adjusted the straps. It fits and looks beautiful!
Plan on buying another one in this style but different colour.

After asking my husband for help getting it on, it looked lovely. But I honestly found that it digs into your neck and shoulders after a few hours. Probably a better choice for smaller cup sizes who need less support.
Definitely would be better with a magnetic clasp!4 out of 5 stars

After spending a LONG time trying to get in the blooming thing, it fits lovely and is very comfortable once you get used to it. But when the say 'easy to get on' they're wrong!
Impossible for anyone who isn't quite flexible and able to do a bra up from behind.

I was looking for a bra that wouldn't slip off my shoulders all the time, I was nearly put off by the reviews saying how you could fall out when bending, glad I didn't. The fit is fine (went up a cup size). It doesn't slip at all in what is an active job, very soft comfortable material. The catch is awkward but I was used to that from Glamorise bras which have the same type. Very pleased.

This was the first bra I ever purchased from Bravissimo and it is great! I love how soft the cups are, it's a nice change to have a padded cup that isn't so firm. When I bought this I was a 28FF but the 30F still fit me fine (I'm probably more of a 30FF now and the bra still fits due to the stretchy back band and high rise cups!) When I bought this originally it was definitely a little big, because I find the back slightly stretchier than other 30 bands, the cups gaped at the top because the back wasn't tight enough. However, when I purchased in a 28FF later the fit was perfect!
The clasp at the back is definitely tricky, but I personally don't mind pulling it on like a t-shirt! I love the lace as it looks nice under sheer tops or with a low cut back!

I got this bra with the old points scheme as I fell in love with it when I tried it on. It was beautiful. I loved the detailing at the back. However, this bra was definitely invented to be sexy on a special occasion and to look good on the floor. I have worn this several times for full days and after a couple of hours the lacy top part really digs into me leaving dents after I have taken it off. I don’t know if this was because I got the lady to fit it too tightly on me but I haven’t given up on this bra! I will still continue with it. I also had to go up a cup size with this one as the fitting is similar to the Niya. I haven’t had any problems with boobs popping out like other reviewers have mentioned.

This is the prettiest bra I've ever owned. It's really unique and sexy. However, it's not an everyday bra, and there are a few drawbacks 1) The fastener is very fiddly, and I've also had to resort to leaving the top part permanently fastened and wearing it like a t-shirt. 2) If I bend over or have to run to catch a bus, for example, my boobs meet in the middle and spill out. 3) Upright it's fine, but if I lie down the wires dig into my rib cage, making it quite uncomfortable. I also used to feel a big pressure behind my neck at first, but loosened the straps and it's now okay. I would actually buy this gorgeous bra again - perhaps in a different colour, for a change - but knowing its limitations. It's great for going out in a nice dress (it's quite low at the front, so doesn't show in some cleavages like my other bras would), but I wouldn't wear it for work, for example, because I move around a lot and it would require a lot of re-jiggling throughout the day. (I can't really comment on whether it's true to size, because I've had it for a while now and can't remember if the size I got was my usual size at the time, or whether the lady who fitted me in store recommended a size up or down sort of thing. My size has fluctuated over time due to weight loss.)
