Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I have gone from a 32E to a 32JJ in pregnancy / postpartum and it’s a struggle to find bras.
But using the chat option and being given advice by the bravissimo team has been invaluable.
This particular bra is sturdy and you feel well supported.
It’s also easy to undo and refasten one handed!

I am currently a 38KK and 8 weeks into breastfeeding my second child. This bra is basically your only option for a non wired bra in this size. It’s an awful bra. The fabric is rough so even if you don’t leak you have to wear breast pads or your nipples become really sore. It gives you a massive monoboob and pushes them down and into your armpits. I spoke to bravissimo in the hope they could recommend something else to me but they said this was the only option in this size.
If you’ve got smaller boobs and have options do not buy this bra. However if like me this is your only option then I’m truly sorry.

They may as well have not bothered making this bra past H cup. They obviously haven't altered the shape of the pattern when moving into larger cup sizes- news flash bigger boobs are very round on top NOT flat. Only kept as literally the only non-wired bra that went to my size but despite getting two cup sizes larger and up a band size to 40L was still too small. But lack of choice meant still had to keep it.

6 months into breastfeeding after my second child this is the only bra I can stand to wear for more than two hours at a time. I got this after my first pregnancy and on and off over the last 3 years (through a second pregnancy) this bra is the only one I keep coming back to. It doesn't hurt my shoulders and neck, doesn't squish me and basically keeps me supported. Just ordered more!

What can I say? I tolerated this bra as there wasn’t a great deal of choice on the market. Firstly, Royce need to be commended as the only mainstream bra company that does nursing bras above a J cup. But that’s where the compliment ends. Even though it goes up to an L cup, this bra couldn’t have been designed for women with big boobs! The shape is sort of saggy, down and out. It doesn’t really do much for delicate post-natal confidence (as the 21 year old fitting room assistant reminded me, you don’t need attractive bras when you’re nursing). But also, the shape doesn’t provide enough support putting a lot of strain on your back. Panache Sophie has much better uplift and shape, and is pretty but stops at a J cup. So a thumbs down for this bra (and it’s sister model, Luna). And a bit of a thumbs down too for bra manufacturers who can’t seem to get it together to make decent nursing bras above H and J cups. Come on Bravissimo, lead the way.

I ordered this as the cups are lined with cotton and I am very allergic to nylon. Well, where do I start. A quad bust with the worst ever fit. I had to examine the bra again to make sure I had been sent the correct size. I find a J cup fits well so ordered a JJ as I understood the cups were all on the small size from other reviews. It went nowhere near. Left me with a weird 4 piece mono boob. Never seen such bad sizing on a garment by a manufacturer.
