Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and naturally big busted, so I have really struggled with this pregnancy trying to find a good decent non wired bra.
I found this bra and wow it’s so comfy and very reasonably priced. So good I ordered the black one too

I was looking for a new bra to wear when travelling (when we get to do that again!) and have previously worn the racerback sleep bras. I wanted something that looked a bit more respectable under clothing and this definitely does that. The under bust is very firm but hoping that will soften up with some wear. I don't quite get the sitting in place against the sternum like the model but I am asking the bra to do some heavier lifting than she is. There is definite separation of boobs and it doesn't look bad under a looser t-shirt so I think it will work well for my requirements. I wouldn't wear it with a nice outfit though. The straps are fairly thin but soft and stretchy so don't push too much on the shoulders. It's quite high under the armpits if this is something that bothers you. Support wise it isn't as good as lots of my other bras and I definitely wouldn't run anywhere in it, but it is as good as the sleep bras from Bravissimo, but with a much better appearance. I went with my normal Bravissimo size of 36GG (two cups up from my Freya size) and it seems to be a good fit.

Moving from wired to non wired for comfort when working from home was new for me. I called to get advice on sizing and it was spot on. If you’re after a non wired bra that behaves like a wired bra, this ticks many boxes - smooth, shaped cups, separates boobs, under bust support and comfy back. Btw: 36G has 2 clips, not 3 as many other G cups do. Excellent bra, thank you.

This bra gives no support and no shape.
I bought because I became allergic to the wires in my other bras.
This is a comfy at home bra under pyjamas.
I would not wear it elsewhere.

Have always worn underwired bras but as I get older I am finding them less comfortable. Bought this in Norwich shop in both black and pink - please make in white too!

I bought a gorgeous new Bravissimo bra in February. Unfortunately, it stopped fitting during lockdown. My other (larger) underwires were really uncomfortable for home working. I never thought I would ever consider a non-wired bra. After much deliberation and re-reading the reviews, I finally took the plunge and bought the Cici non-wired bra in size 38FF - a size up from my previous bra. It fit beautifully and has great support! I admit the back is a bit bigger than I needed, but it's all so comfy. Sometimes it feels like I'm not wearing a bra at all, but supported by magic. No more heavy weight on my shoulders (and neck!). I really recommend this bra. Thank you Bravissimo!

I'm in the last month or so of pregnancy and have been struggling to find anything to fit. This wasn't a shape that I thought would necessarily work on me but actually it's pretty good. I usually prefer an upfront balconette style (back before pregnancy I was a big fan of the Cleo Marcie bra and Panache Jasmine). This bra is along the same lines, and gave me more uplift and less side spread than other non-wired bras. I increased the back size to 36 to give myself more space in the cup (as I'm a K not a J now). The back is a bit big but the J cup would have been too small. Wish this came in bigger cup sizes! It's a fuller cup, is the only thing I'd say against it, anything at all low cut will show this one...that said, so grateful to have found something that fits and supports!

First bought this bra on line for delivery in the Leeds store. I'm usually 32FF in a wired bra, but went for a 32G, based on reviews to go for a larger cup. On visiting the store and trying 32G the cup size was too big and the hooks at the back were on the tightest, so I was advised to exchange it for a 30G. Susan, who helped me with the fitting was brilliant, as was the assistant at the till (sorry I didn't get her name). The size I needed was not in stock but my initial order was returned by her and the new order sorted for delivery home. I have received it today, and the bra fits great. The back is now on the last hooks, which will mean there is room for it to slacken (which was what Susan suggested). Covid procedures had been put in place and were strictly followed by staff and customers. All a very positive experience - thank you. The bra is so comfy, but offers great support. I've now ordered the same in black.
