Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I tired this in both the pink and black. I was advised to keep my pre-pregnancy size as it was cut larger. I have to say it's awful, and I've always loved everything from Bravissimo. The first time I wore it, it looked something like the photo. But after a few hours everything went a very distorted shape. It gives a very saggy mono-boob look, and does not support unless I have it cut into my back, giving the lovely back rolls. I thought the lack of wire would be more comfortable through pregnancy, but it's really not.
Well made but no support2 out of 5 stars

I really like the fabric of this bra and it is very comfortable but there is very little uplift and it makes no difference when adjusting the straps as they do not stay.
Comfortable but not a great shape.3 out of 5 stars

Having not worn a non-wired bra for nearly 50 years, I was fitted for this in store. I thought it fitted quite well, until I saw the photo online and realised that the middle part is supposed to be flat to my body! I can get several fingers into the gap - so I am wondering if I was fitted with the right size? The other thing is that the straps are quite narrow and tend to cut in if I don't position them carefully on my shoulders. The shape is OK for casual wear, or lounging around at home and I think it would be really comfortable for travelling in.
Average bra, not worth the money!3 out of 5 stars

I so, so, so wanted to love this bra like everyone else but I just don't. I don't get much boob separation even though I was fitted in the shop and it gives me a big, horrible cleavage which I don't like. I really don't feel like it's comfortable at all around my back and it just makes me look frumpy. I am six months pregnant and I needed a bra that fitted well to take me to when the baby arrives. The fitter gave me a slightly larger size so that I can grow in to it but I'm still not convinced. I'm wearing it because I have no choice but I'll discarding it as soon as I can! It's off as soon as I get in the door at night!

I exchanged the Zara non-wired bra for this, as the Zara provided minimal support for me. I think this one is better and does provide more support although not as much as conventional wired bra. The fit and support would be best for those who have pert boobs and not saggy ones. It seems true to size and is a pretty colour and does have the advantage of adjustable straps.
Great fit, incredibly comfortable5 out of 5 stars

Got to that point I just cannot wear underwire any more, actually got scarring from wire digging in to my sides. I tried a bralette but sadly all that did was squeeze them together and make me look even bigger and made them stick together and uncomfortably sweaty. So after the bralette experiment I persisted deciding I needed something to separate them into cups and give me adequate support. I saw this Cici and thought I would try it. WOW, so, so glad I did, sitting here wearing it now and all I can say is try it! It is so comfortable and the fabric is soft and smoothing. I cannot believe you get this support from something non wired, wish I had converted years ago now! Better late than never ... Going to order the other colour now and please add further colours to the range Bravissimo!
