Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I love this bra, but the back does come up a bit small. I usually take a 34 HH and the cups are comfortable and perfectly sized. Unfortunately as the day goes on I tend to retain a little water and this bra becomes a little tight around the back and under the ribs, I usually wear the Bravissimo Melissa bra 34 HH and find that I don’t get this problem. It’s a dilemma, so not a bra I would wear all day and buying a larger cup or a 36 wouldn’t solve this problem for me. I might use the Bravissimo extenders when I’m retaining fluid a little. Saying all this it gives amazing support and is very comfortable for half a day. It’s beautiful to look at and very feminine.

I had given up on the Panache styles as I always found the sides were too high and uncomfortable. Not so with the Clara bra. Not only that as and older lady whose boobs are now a little more saggy this bra is both supportive and leaves them looking rounded and plump again. So comfortable as well. Very happy.

A really nice style but unfortunately the top half of the cup was very flimsy and I prefer something firmer. I had the dreaded ‘wobble’ as a result so I had to send this one back. Lesson learned to buy in store rather than online when going for a style I’d not tried before!
