How do you know if your bra fits right?

How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.

Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.

How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

This bra is absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. The band is narrower, so its great for people with average to narrow breast roots, and the gore isn't too tall. I originally got this bra in a 30F, which I thought fit great—but then I began spilling out of the sides and top. I realized I hadn't scooped and swooped properly and it didn't fit. I ordered it again in a 30FF, but once I tried it on, I realized the problem was actually a shape mismatch. The cups are a bit too shallow for someone with large projection—the band fit, but my boobs didn't sit in the cups, they kept falling out the top. I had a lot of room at the bottom of the cup yet was spilling out top. Bummer.
So if you have a lot of projection like me (8 inch difference from band to *leaning* measurement) this may not work for youMy new Favourite!

Once again a lovely bra from bravissimo, at a fantastic price point BUT with large breasts the straps are just too thin for all day wear...by the end of the day I can't wait to take it off!! Please make your straps for larger breasted ladies wider....Recently Viewed
