How do you know if your bra fits right?

How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.

Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.

How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I was really excited for this one because it looks pretty and supportive, but it was both of those it was not easy to open one handed and it did not pull back into place well. I was constantly having to readjust myself into it.

It’s a good nursing bra, however if you want a more practical one a nursing bra with magnets are not the one. I mainly wanted the bra for the look and already knew clips are a better alternative so that wasn’t a big issue for me. Luckily because of its stretch lace it still allows quick access to boob without having to unclip it.

It is much prettier than my other nursing bras. The magnetic clips do connected back together very easily, but it requires 2 hands to get them undone, so the convenience of reconnecting is lost by the faff of getting it undone when you need to feed baby! The lace cups are pretty but rather flimsy and low cut so do cut in on me closer to a feed.
A shame as its a better shape and style than many but really lacking the practicality for a nursing bra

The magnetic clips are so strong they are difficult to undo with one hand (by what point the baby is screaming crying to be fed). The underwire pierces my chest while I feed too. I was fitted for this bra so thought it would be more comfortable. I would take it back if I could.

This bra is very pretty and makes me feel good through the long days of nursing a newborn. It’s the little touches that make it feel special such as the gold metallic touches, bluebell colour and lace edging. The lace fabric is stretchy and comfortable and the thinner straps sit nicely without feeling too chunky on my larger than average 30GG cup size. The only downsides are that a) the cups are quite wide (from the front to underneath my arms) however, it is still comfortable to wear. Secondly b) the magnetic closure can be difficult to undo but ‘snap back’ really effectively at the end of a feed, versus clips which can be fiddly.
