Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I think it's okay, but the band feels very scratchy against my skin. It fits okay though, and it does separate my chest.

The best bra I have ever worn. Extremely comfortable, super supportive and the straps don’t slide off my shoulders. Highly recommended.

Great bra, wanted a non wired non lacey one. Fits great comfy and firm so much so I bought two. Good non girly colours too!

I was very satisfied with this bra two years ago and now I was excited to get new one.
But the quality of the straps is poor, much thinner than before. They are digging into my shoulders! Get the old quality back, because otherwise this bra is suitable for me!

Following reconstructive surgery I needed something non-wired for after the sports bra bit of recovery! It’s really difficult to find non-wired supportive bras for large breasts that stay in place for more than 2 minutes. This does do that, but it’s a really odd pointy shape and I would never normally have kept it. It’s also very unstretchy, so there’s no give at all in the sizing. The fabric is quite weirdly stiff and not at all like the softer feel you might expect from a marl effect which suggests jersey. Overall, this is definitely a “need” not a “want” bra.

A lot more comfortable than am underwire bra. My only negative is that the breasts are not lifted or separated as an underwire bra would. Compared to my last bra I got the straps are the best by far for comfort and width.
