Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

The Matilda bra provides full coverage and works well under low V-neck shirts. My only complaint is that by the end of the day the wires near the underarm feel a bit pokey.

I don’t normally go for this style bra; lower sitting but when it was brought for me to try on, oh my goodness it felt incredible. Almost like I’m not wearing anything it is THAT comfortable!!! I bought two bras on the day, but hands down this my favourite due to how comfortable it is. Not sure I’ll use the j hooks due to where they sit for me but they aren’t as noticeable as I thought they might be so that is good too. Waiting to buy another one very soon; would be amazing if one could be done in white! Highly, highly recommend!!!

I have an asymmetrial bust and normally go for bras with a stretch lace upper however, Georgia in the Brighton store got this for me to try on and it fits amazingly! I love the bright colour and the matching underwear too. My only issue is that the J-hook doesn’t work for me because the hook is above the adjustment sliders on the shoulders and as I have a short torso the j-hooks are too far up to clip together - I could almost J-hook across the front of my chest!

Love the pink colour I got, and the supportive mesh material, looks great, but it’s the fit and ability to wear as a racer back that sets it apart for me. The low front makes it great for close set boobs and coverage is still good too
