Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I'm a 30GG. Recently I've been searching online for comfortable, supportive wire-free bralettes for everyday wear under clothes. I've tried and returned probably 10-15 bras at this point (all supposedly recommended for full busts) and so far this is the only one I've kept! So many places I've found that advertise bralettes for larger busts make each of their sizes to fit a range of bra sizes, like "Size 2 fits bands 28-32 and cups F-H." So far in my experience, that type of sizing has resulted in a poor fit every time, meaning it's both uncomfortable and unsupportive. Bravissimo's Non-Padded Sleep Bra is the first one I've found that actually fits great, no spill-over or weird gaping, with enough support and the right amount of coverage. There's one minor weirdness where the center front section of the band wants to sit higher under my bust than the construction seems to indicate it should, but it's perfectly comfortable and supportive that way so I just let the fabric in that section fold and don't worry about it.
The outside fabric is a comfy knit. The inside has a good, supportive seamed construction from bra mesh, but the mesh is soft enough that it's not scratchy or irritating to my skin (which has been a problem with all the lace bralettes I've tried.) I was worried the ruching would show through my t-shirts, but unless my shirt is super tight or too thin it's actually not an issue. If I can't find other bralettes I like, I'll just come back and get this one in the other color! (I got the grey, but I wish I'd gotten the navy so it would go with more of my wardrobe.)

Surprisingly comfortable. Needed a comfy bra to keep my breasts from resting on my front and sweating which caused interigo - horrible itching!!!! Going to buy the black one now.

Had these for some years. Needed to buy some new ones. The grey is a better fit than the navy - when I mentioned the navy seems to come up small I was advised by the telephone assistant at Bravissimo that dark colours are double dyed and can feel a little smaller. This is a comfortable bra to waer at home or to pop out for a short while but it's fair to say it gives a mono boob! I can wear a 32J in this bra ( with the mono boob look) my underwired bras tend to be 34HH - I have difficulty finding any that are really comfortable as the wires dig in.

It may not be the most sexy underwear but it is so comfy to sleep in and provides me with the much needed support at night time.
