Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

This Bra is very comfortable,it would be nice to have some more colours.
Ideally bigger cup size as really I need the next cup up,but I can get away with the H as a sizing on the cups is quite generous.

Immediately following a lumpectomy and removal of a couple of lymph nodes I wore a sports bra. It helped prevent swelling and stopped any movement that caused discomfort. Three weeks on and I’m now wearing the post surgery bra, I’m not yet ready for the wired bras. It’s comfortable., gives good support and comes high under the arms so
It doesn’t rub my scars. I prefer the shape my wired bras give me but It’s nice and soft and a great colour.
So anyone else in the same predicament, get a good sports bra ( not too tight!) this post surgery bra and supportive sleep tops.

Very pretty bra and comfortable. Most post surgery bras feel like a straight jacket This one actually feels feminine! Lovely!

Nice style. Support not as good as other post-surgery bras I have. As many others have already said, it would be good to see other lighter colours. Glad that Bravissimo has at last featured a bra that can be worn with breast forms.

Really wanted a post mastectomy and reconstruction bra that actually looked like a regular bra and not a medical issue item. Lovely colour and feels so soft. When I got it out the packet I was dubious that it would fit as it looked a bit smaller than the other bras I have but once I’d put it on and ‘jiggled’ my bits into place it was very comfy. Not worn it out and about as yet but for me it’s excellent as the sides are very accommodating for my slight lymphoedema and so I’m sure will fit even better once this settles. I envisage having to get a smaller size once I’ve had surgery to the other breast to make it more of a similar size to the reconstructed side, but this is not due til well into middle of next year so plenty of wear to be had. Please consider doing different colours for those of us who need more neutral/black/white for work and under uniforms and then I think you are on to a real winner
