Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

Excellent bra! One of my favorites. The fabric is breathable and very thin. Comfortable and holds a large bust well.

Many seem to love this, but I think it looks very dowdy on me. It flattens me on top and I really don't like the shape it gives me. I don't like the extra racer-back hook on the straps, either! I got it because there wasn't much choice in my size (36JJ) in stock at the time, but I've barely worn it.
I check often to see if Bravissimo have brought out something new, but in my size there's often not much choice. It's usually the Millie in yet another colour - which isn't for me either, as it gives me a strange shape! The shape of the Amelia is great for me, and I loved the Nina (sadly discontinued). Please do more bras that give a lovely shape like those two! Or maybe the Zadie, but with straps that don't come up so high on the chest - not so great for women that prefer V-neck tops!

The lovely assistant recommended I try the Reeva, after learning that Melrose the bra I have worn for years has sadly been discontinued. I was slightly sceptical at first as it is a lot lighter in construction, but after trying it on I'm so glad she did it is wonderful. A perfect bra the fit is superb and it is so comfortable. A BIG HIT

Such a comfortable bra, hardly know I'm wearing it. Lovely embroidery and good support. Comfortable from very first wearing. More colours please
