Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

Love this bra. I run and play rugby and its holding everything in place ❤
The two colour makes it look like a top so I can strip off with confidence in the changing rooms.

Agree with comments on sizing - normally a 30 back and couldn’t fasten the 32.
Felt convincing on trying out a bounce or two in the shop but on first run it was obviously not going to perform. Will be okay for weights, yoga, bike so not a total waste but bought it for running so disappointed by poor support.

This is the third Shockabsorber running bra. Very good quality - just find the fasterners eventually go - but I've had the old ones for about 3 years!

Straps keep pinging off at the back. The hook bits. Only worn once and not sure if I can return! :(

Don’t even understand how this bra had 4 stars average in the ratings! Everything you’d hate was present in this bra. The band is at least 1-2 sizes too tight (normally I’m a 32 in band, read reviews and bought 34 and it was still a struggle to get it on loosest clasp). Once you get it on, it’s a total uniboob effect, no separation whatsoever. Then the worst part is that despite the uniboob squish and the super-tight band, I felt it did not give me enough support or bounce control. I wore it to do cross fit in and was very frustrated with the amount of bounce I still felt. Huge disappointment and I wish I could send it back at this point, but I had taken the tags off and washed it, so I guess I’m stuck. Hopefully this review will help others avoid the same mistake! In the same order, I also bought the other shock absorber bra style. I did like that better. Better separation, band not as tight (still go up a size though). Still not a ton of support, but ok for moderate bounce activity (wouldn’t run in it).

I love the color of this and the reviews are great so I really wanted to like it. So much so, in fact, that I tried 3 times. I'm a 34FF in "street" bras but usually opt for a 32G in sports bras so that I feel really secure (for HIIT classes). I tried a 32G - couldn't breathe or barely get it on. Next came the 34FF - still spilled out under the armpits a bit. Finally, the 34G - and then I realized that maybe I just don't like my boobs being so squashed. It doesn't feel like me. Back to my Panache and Freya....

I really wanted to like this bra but similar to others couldn't do up the top clasp without dislocating my shoulder! The band was also to narrow, sadly it went back.
