I've been using the Shock Absorber Run bra for years and it is the only bra I feel supported in. I tried Panache for a while, as well as a few other brands, but they felt about as supportive as not wearing a bra even though it says "high impact". Not the most glamorous sports bra but it will hold you in tight with no movement, whilst also not being padded so doesn't give you extra uncomfortable bulk. It gives you proper coverage and support. The straps can put pressure on your neck/shoulder area if you've been wearing it for a few hours so I recommend you change out of the bra once you are done working out, but apart from that I always end up coming back to this bra. Also, the back band can be a little tight at first so if you are in doubt size up on the band but cup size is perfect.

Followed advice and ordered a 32G instead of my usual 30G. Like the other reviews I found this is still far too small. The back is several inches too short and the cups are too small, even without trying to do up the back my boobs were squashed together and there was a bit of 'mono boob' going on, but since I couldn't fasten it I can't say for certain. I need a high impact sports bra that separates and completely holds me in place, this is not it and getting returned :(

So, did as suggested and went up a band size from 30G to 32 and it wouldn't even do up! If you want to try this one, go up two sizes around the chest band.

The 30 band was more like a 26, just barely fastened it. Cup size was tiny too. Try ordering this in 2 band sizes bigger e.g 34G not 30G. I found it harder to do up too, so decided to buy another one of the active multi sports bra in my normal size instead, which I'm happy with.

This is my go-to bra when I'm going to do a lot of jumping - I've never found anything else this supportive. The band is tight and some might find the bra difficult to do up, but if you make sure that you get the right back size (perhaps one size up from what you get usually, though I take the same size in the run bra as I do in the Shock Absorber Multi bra) and you think that you'll be able to do up the clip at the back, then I definitely recommend this bra.

I have bought this bra elsewhere repeatedly before and after two pregnancies as my breasts fluctuated in size and I was getting back into jogging. I have always had to go 1 size up in the back and 1 size down in cup with this style but the fit is fantastic. So supportive when running. Definitely put on over head with upper clip fastened and then do up back as normal bra. This is quite easy with this bra as the clip is higher up than other shock absorber styles. Definitely worth finding the right size to fit!

I'm a pretty active person, but always found I needed a super high level of support to feel comfortable, even with medium impact sports like cycling. This bra is really great for pretty much any sport I've tried while wearing it. The racer back took a little bit of getting used to - I do up the bottom bra strap first before tackling the top ones - but now I really appreciate the extra support. I must have bought this bra in black about five times now, and wouldn't consider buying anything else. Really recommended!

I normally wear a 34FF in most Bravissimo bras. I tried on a 34FF in store and it was too small. I ordered a 36F - this is still way too small. It also does not give enough support for running I love Bravissimo, but I am very disappointed by their fit and support of their sports bras. Will continue to buy Shock Absorber from John Lewis!
